In Response To: CASS TOWNSHIP CHURCHES?? (GENNIE)

I don't think there is any Catholic church in Cass Township (at least so far that I know of). There are/were only Christian or Methodist churches in or around Chillicothe. There was once a Columbia church (near Columbia Cemetery) but it burnt down one day many years ago (I think in the late 1970s or early 1980s). There was once a Methodist church right in Chillicothe but it is converted into a private home now. There is a church and graveyard next to it (I think it's Munsterville [sp?] out on the old Hwy 34 in the triangle between Ottumwa, Chillicothe and Albia but I am not sure if it's technically inside Cass Township or not). Maybe there were other older churches that once existed in Cass Twp which I do not know about (if any).
