A check of the WPA records do not show either a Michael Pearson/Pierson or Mary Pearson/Pierson. However, both Pearson and Pierson are very popular names in Wapello county and there are numerous burials under both names. Many are in the Munterville and Chillicothe area neither of which are in Center Township.

I did check the marriage records and found the following. You probably have most of these, but I thought I'd give them to you anyway - just in case.

Michael Pearson married Rosetta Terrill on 5 Jan 1854.
Michael Pearson married Mary Hartman on 9 Feb 1860.
Nancy J. Pearson married Samuel P. Poston on 17 Apr 1897.
Adeline Pearson married John D. Adcock on 9 May 1880.
Adeline Adcock married Andrew Sweeney on 14 Nov 1889.
Sarah R. Pearson married Alex J. Burnaugh 8 Feb 1880.
Orel Pearson married Martin V. Leonard on 23 Dec 1877.
Louisa Pierson married John Adcock 26 Sep 1889
Louisa Pierson marred Swan J.T. Anderson on 30 Dec 1882.
Louisa Pierson married Isaac Laughridge on 20 Oct 1894.
Louisa Pearson married B.S. Ahl on 5 Dec 1869
Anna Pierson married John Swanson on 7 Apr 1891.
Anna Pearson married Levi Moody on 5 Sep 1894.
Anna Pearson married Henry Springer on 10 Oct 1877.
Anna L. Pearson married Charles Johnson on 3 Nov 1871.
Hanna Pearson married Fred Johnson on 9 Mar 1887.
Hannah Amanda Pearson married Oscar Purn on 6 Jul 1910.
Mary Pearson married Thomas J. Hamilton on 14 Dec 1916.
Mary J. Pearson married Thomas W. Nelson on 12 Apr 1877.
Mary E. Pearson married William Edward Galpin on 5 Sep 1894.

Right now, I have no way of knowing which of these are yours except for the ones you previously indicated.

I might note that it appears Adeline's marriage to John D. Adcock most likely ended in divorce, since he did not die until 1915. He is buried in the Chillicothe Cemetery. I also do not know if he is the same John Adcock who later married Louisa Pearson.

Also, Samuel P. Poston died pm 25 Mar 1918 and is also buried in Chillicothe Cemetery as is Nancy.
