CHARLES CLIFFORD RAINES "HOOLEY", 95, formally of Camelot Towers, died Dec. 18, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center. He was born Jan. 12, 1906 in Oskaloosa,Iowa to ELLSWORTH and RACHEL ANAETTA NAIL RAINES. He married MILDRED M. ANDERSON on Jan. 30, 1926, in Ottumwa,Iowa. She preceded him in death on Aug. 20, 1985. He is survived by a son; JERRY RAINES of Ottumwa,Iowa; a step-son, RUSSELL ANDERSON of Tuston, Calif.; three daughters, ELSIE WEIR of Kirkville,Iowa, BARBARA MILLHOUSE of Downey, MO, and BETTY COWGER of Ottumwa,Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec 20, in the First Church of The Open Bible, with Rev. Bill Payne officiating. Burial will be in MCCORMICK Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today in the Alexander-Johnson Funeral Chapel, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritian Center of Heartland Humane Society.
