Mrs Elizabeth J Cope Wade, who was taken to the Soldiers Home in Marshalltown some months ago, then was removed to the Wapello County farm, passed away Saturday, December 3, 1910, aged 87 years. She was born in Indiana in 1823, Moving to Illinois, Missouri, Eddyville with her late husband, Geo W D Wade, in the year 1862. His death was March 14, 1901; with internment at the Soldiers Home at Marshalltown. They were the parents of no children. Services at the M E Church, remains laid to rest at the Highland Cemetery.
