The coroners inquest concerning the matter in which Walter Dutton, who was injured in the south Iowa Central yards, (Oskaloosa), was held at the courthouse. It was decided he met his death as a result of blows or falls received upon his head and chest. Walter was born in Wayne county, Iowa, March 8, 1876. He was married to Miss Katie Grimes, and 2 children were born and died in infancy. His wife died May 1907. He made his home with his parents, Mrs and Mr Jesse Dutton, near Coalfield. He is survived by his parents, a brother, an sister Mrs Jesse Harlan. Burial Old Cemetery, Oskaloosa.
