From Tuesday’s Daily:

John M. Jones, for fifty-five years a resident of Wapello county, died today at the home of his son, William Jones, 716 West Mill street. The deceased was born in Richmond, Va., September 5, 1818. He was well known in Wapello county, which has been his home for many years.

(John M. Jones is buried in Ormanville Cemetery with his wife, Jane.)
