Mrs. Nora A. Johnson

Mrs. Nora A. Johnson, 76, of 2106 West Second street, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 10:50 a.m. Monday after an extended illness.

She lived in Ottumwa 57 years. She was the daughter of Martin and Meda Milcom Morrow and was born September 19, 1881, at Macon, Mo.

Surviving are two brothers, Jess Morrow of Ottumwa, and Arthur Morrow of near Selma, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Ratliff of Ottumwa. Her husband, Clifford B. Johnson died June 23, 1942.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. LaVerne Morris of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack McVey, Harry McVey, Jr., William McVey, Joe Tee, Alex Davis and Roy Davis.
