OTTUMWA - The REV. HENRY GRUWELL, 87, of 617 S. Hancock and formerly of Route 6, died at 8:30 p.m. March 13, 2002, at Ottumwa Manor.

He was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Wapello County,Iowa to WWILLIAM ³Willie\ and DORA MARY RADER GRUWELL. He married ARDES PAULINE HARTSOCK Feb. 12, 1938.

Surviving are his wife; sons GARY of Ottumwa,Iowa and LARRY of Agency,Iowa; daughters CAROLYN FIEDLER, JUDY EDGINGTON and KATHY GRUWELL of Ottumwa,Iowa, BEVERLY CONNER of Lawrenceville, Ga., and BONNIE WHITE of Ida Grove,Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and four step great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon,Iowa, the Revs. David Albert and Viola King and grandson Ricky FIEDLER officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday in Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Randy, Henry and Jeffrey FIEDLER, Brent and Craig CONNER and David, Zeth and Zach GRUWELL.

Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Anita SNOW, Susan GRUWELL, Jennifer PROCTOR and Angela WHITE.

Memorials may be made to the family.
