Mrs. C.J. Taylor, 69, whose home was at 415 West Fifth street unitl about two years ago when she was taken to a rest home in Eddyville because of ill health, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Taylor, who had made her home in Ottumwa for 30 years, was a prominent member of the First Presbyterian church here where she was particularly active in the missionary and Sunday school work. She is survived by her husband and one son, Commander Perry R. Taylor, Naval officer at Arlington, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Westminster chapel at the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. Richard Paul Graebel, D.D. will be in charge of the service and burial will be in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
