B.B. King, 76, formerly of Ottumwa died Thursday at his home in Council Bluffs. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Sunday and will be taken to the Moroney funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock from the Moroney funeral home, and at 9 o’clock from St. Patrick’s Catholic church in charge of the Rev. T.C. Donohoe. Mr. King was employed by the late C.T. Sullivan in the undertaking business here for several years. He left Ottumwa in 1908 and was a funeral director in Council Bluffs until recently. He is survived by his wife, Mae; one son, Ernest of Bremerton, Washington, three brothers, Ed of Council Bluffs, Ross of Albia and Claude of Ottumwa, and by two sisters, Mrs. Clara McCoy and Mrs. Minnie Dehl of Ottumwa.
Funeral service for Benjamin King, who died in Council Bluffs, will be held at the Moroney funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and at St. Patrick’s Catholic church at 9 a.m. with the requiem high mass conducted by the Rev. T. C. Donohoe. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. St. Patrick’s parish will meet at the Moroney funeral home tonight at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary.
