Charles F. Anderson, 86, resident of Ottumwa area, for 65 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F.E. Marble, Ottumwa, route 5, at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. Born at Linkeping, Sweden he came to the United States and direct to Ottumwa in 1879. Survivors besides Mrs. Marble include two other daughters, Mrs. Esther Ehrenihard, Ashland, Nebraska and Mrs. Agnes Strandburg, Davenport, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Matilda, March 22, 1934. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. R.E. Baldwin of Trinity Lutheran church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
