Paul Moss, 44, former Ottumwan, died at midnight Saturday at Cincinnati, Ohio. The son of Willis F. and Mary Jane Moss, he was born in Ottumwa October 22, 1899. He married Miss Frances Cornell at Cincinnati April 20, 1933. He was an employee of the Kroger Candy & Bakery Co. and was a member of Empire lodge, No. 260, A.F. & A.M. of Ottumwa and the Scottish Rites consistory of Cincinnati. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hawkins, Ottumwa and Mrs. Bessie Rouch, Eldon and by two brothers, Clarence and Ralph Moss, both of Ottumwa. The body will arrive here Tuesday night and will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel awaiting completion of arrangements.
Funeral services for Paull Moss, former Ottumwan who died last Saturday night in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Johnson’s chapel. The Rev. Charles A. Albin of the Church of the Brethren will be in charge. Burial in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be member of the Masonic order and Masonic services will be held at the grave. The body was to arrive late this afternoon and taken to the chapel.
