Mrs. Maggie M. Wilson, 76, wife of Elmer E. Wilson, died at her home in Kirkville at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of several months. The daughter of Andrew J. and Mary Erskine, she was born at Dubuque October 3, 1867. She had been a resident of the Kirkville community for more than 35 years and was a member of the Christian church at Kirkville. On November 25, 1887, she was married to Elmer Wilson, who survives her. The lived in Ottumwa about 18 years and in Albia for two years. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. F.E. Fuhs, Oskaloosa, Mrs. C.W. Fink, Agency route 1, and Mrs. G.E. Benson, Ottumwa; five grandchildren and a brother, Al Erskine, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by two daughters. Funeral services will be at the home in Kirkville at 1:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. in the Kirkville Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen of the First Lutheran church of Ottumwa. Burial will be in Kirkville cemetery. The casket will be taken form the Johnson funeral chapel to the home Thursday afternoon.
