John C. Ranseen, a former merchant here, died June 4, at his home in Minneapolis. Surviving are three sons, Clarence E. Ranseen, Mauritz C. Ranseen and Dr. Rudolph H. Ranseen, and three grandchildren, all of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1940, and by a daughter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in Grace Lutheran church in Minneapolis. The burial service will be read by Gilbert Adolphson, assistant pastor of the First Lutheran church here, at 1 p.m. Thursday in Ottumwa cemetery.
