Carl G. Allender, 53, former Ottumwan, died Sunday in Des Moines, his home for many years. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton funeral home, with graveside services in Ottumwa cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. John R. Estes of the First Baptist church. Allender was the son of Stephen and Sadie Allender. His mother survives. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two brother, Fred and Paul.
