Frank L. Rowland, 63, an employee of John Morrell & Co. for nearly 40 years, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday at Ottumwa hospital. His home is at 306 North Van Buren. The son of Frank W. and Anna Rowland, he was born October 16, 1860, at Burlington. He was a member of the Sir Knights of Maccabees, the Security Benefit association and the First Baptist church. Survivors include his Wife, Anna Belle; his mother living in Ottumwa, a sister Mrs. M.S. Ballagh, Ottumwa, an aunt, a nephew and three cousins. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Lester Jay funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John R. Estes, pastor of the First Baptist church., Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence 306 North Van Buren avenue, at 1 p.m. Sunday and will be returned to the funeral home Monday morning.
