Maurice Moriarity, 59, died at 9 p.m. Sunday at his home 113 South Willard street. He was born March 16, 1885, in Dudley and came to Ottumwa when a small child. He was an employee of the car repair department of the Milwaukee railroad for 32 years. Besides his wife, Mary, he is survived by two sons, John and Donald, and one daughter, Catherine, all at home: one brother Edward, Ottumwa and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Glentzer of Pueblo, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the home and a 9:00 the Rev. T.C. Donohoe will celebrate a requiem high mass at the St. Patrick’s church. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery. Members of the St. Patrick’s church will meet at the Moriarity home at 8 p.m. Tuesday to recite the rosary. The body was removed to the home from the Vaughan funeral home at 5 p.m. this afternoon.
