George F. Fuller, 62, of 253 South Davis street, died at 6 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. He was born January 9, 1882, at Centerville, the son of Frank and Jennie Fuller. He had been a resident of Ottumwa, for the past 29 years and was a barber on Main street for 18 years. He was a member of the Free Methodist church. He was married on March 8, 1903 in Appanoose County to Sarah Mitchell, who survives him. He is also survived by two sons, Glen Fuller of Fort Worth, Texas, and Private Earl Fuller of Camp Abbott, Oregon, and his mother Mrs. Jennie Fuller of Centerville. There are five surviving grandchildren and the following three sisters, Mrs. Edna McElroy, Centerville; Mrs. Viola Davis, Cincinnati, Iowa; Mrs. Cordia Orman, Freeport, Illinois, and two brothers, Charlie Fuller of Rockton, Illinois, and Clyde Fuller of Moline. He was preceded in death by his father, one son and three daughters. Funeral services of for George F. Fuller, 253 South Davis street, who died in Ottumwa hospital Tuesday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Free Methodist church, the Rev. Z. Everett Kellum in charge. Burial in Oakland cemetery, Centerville. Pallbearers will be R.L. Sickles, Eldridge McCall, Moran Dyer, Roy Davis, Howard Maring and M.W. Dyer. The casket will be taken from the Johnson’s chapel to the church at noon Friday.
