Mrs. Anna Stump, 70, wife of Frederick Stump, 811 Glenwood avenue, died at her home at 11:45 a. m. The daughter of Joseph and Theresa Engle, she was born in Germany April 4, 1874, and came to the United States when 10 years old. Since that time, she had lived in Wapello county. Besides her husband she is survived by two children. Mrs. Grace Horton of Ottumwa and Miss Ethel Stump at home. Three grandchildren and three brothers, Joseph Engle, Ottumwa; Rudolph Engle, Moulton, and August Engle, Cope, Colorado, also survive. Mrs. Stump was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America lodge. The body was taken to the Johnson funeral chapel to await funeral arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Stump, wife of Frederick Stump, 611 Glenwood avenue who died at her home Friday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Johnson’s chapel, the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church in charge. Burial in Chillicothe cemetery.
