Alberta Rae Young, three-day-old infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Young of near Ottumwa, died today at 1 a.m. at the St. Joseph hospital, where she was born March 14. Mrs. Young was the former Miss Marjorie Ritter. Besides the parents, the child is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young of Frulta, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Butler of Hedrick, and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ritter of Hedrick, and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt Sr. of Martinsburg. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Community funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Carl Ganschow of Hedrick. Burial will be in the Abel cemetery west of Hedrick.
