Ernest Blew, 57, died suddenly at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at his home, Bloomfield route 9. He was the son of Van and Ellen Blew and was born at Champaign, Illinois, December 23, 1886. He had lived in Davis county seven years. Survivors are his wife, Emma, three sons and seven daughters; Chastie Blew at home; Van Blew, Floris route 2; Darrel Blew, at home; Mrs. Frank Wilbanks, Ottumwa; Mrs. Keith Cormeny, Hedrick route 2; Mrs. Edwin Gay, Bloomfield route 9; Jean, Doris, Marlene and Joleen, all at home. Also, a brother, Guy Blew of Ottumwa; a sister, Mrs. Denzil Kenney of Corydon, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Johnson’s chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Dunnville cemetery.
