Funeral services for James Linebaugh, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Linebaugh, 618 Lee avenue, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson funeral chapel. Young Linebaugh, a member of the Ottumwa high school senior class and a guard last fall on his school’s undefeated football team, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday in University hospital at Iowa City. Funeral services will be in charge of the Rev. E.L. Frost, pastor of the Davis Street Christian church, and burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery. The casket will be taken to the home of the boy’s parents this afternoon and returned to the funeral chapel at 12 o’clock noon Thursday. Pallbearers will be friends and schoolmates and are Harold Miller, Dale Gruber, Walter McNulty, Kenneth Davis, Kenneth Bailey and Edward Deevers.
