Burns Fatal To Child, 16 Months Old
Burns sustained early Friday when a stove exploded at his home proved fatal last night to Thomas Edward Morris, 16-month-old son of Richard and Zella Morris, Ottumwa route 5. The child died at Ottumwa hospital. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Richard and Billy, both at home: three sisters, Beverly and Shirley, both at home, and Donna Lee Goode, Milo, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benton More, Ft. Scott, Kansas. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
