Mrs. Leora Davis, 45, of 832 North Fellows avenue, died at 3:45 a.m. today at the St. Joseph hospital She was the daughter of Sarah Helen and David G. Wilson, and was born in Ottumwa, August 31, 1898. Her husband Thomas Davis and three daughters survives. They are Marceline, Esther May and Charlotte Davis. There also are five brothers and two sisters; Sergeant Emmett E. Wilson, and Private Wallace V. Wilson of Ottumwa, in Army service; Leon of Minneapolis; Henry, Theodore, Josephine and LaVon Wilson all of Ottumwa Mrs. Davis was a member of the Second Baptist church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Leora Davis, who died Wednesday morning will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. William M. Shaw, pastor of the Second Baptist church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
