Carl DeWayne Nevins, one year and eight months son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Nevins, 1106 West Samantha street, died at 1:5 p.m. Friday at the home. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Ruby, Shirley and Delores Marie; a brother. James William at home, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Nevins, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vest, all of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
