William Roy Pendarvis, infant son of Private First Class and Mrs. Dale Pendarvis, Kirkville, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Ottumwa hospital. He is survived besides his mother, who makes her home in Kirkville with her parents, by his father who is with the U.S. Army in Australia, and by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Glenn of Kirkville. Prayer services were held at the grave this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Westview cemetery in Kirkville, in charge of the Rev. C.S. Dewey, pastor of the Methodist church in Kirkville. The body remained at the Community funeral home until the time of services.
