Mrs. Mary Agnes Harden, 72, of 111 North Clay street, wife of the late Perry Harden, died Friday evening at her home at 8 o’clock. Mrs. Harden was born January 20, 1871, in Ottumwa and has lived here her entire life. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and one daughter. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.B. McGrath of Melrose and Mrs. Nona O’Brien of Ottumwa; four sons, Edward and George of Ottumwa and Lawrence and Bernard of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Nona McClung of Ottumwa; five brothers, E.S. Holland of Hazelton, Joe and Leo of Bakersfield, California, Henry and Arthur of Chicago, 23 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 at the home and at 9 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church, where the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. M. Walsh V.F. will celebrate a requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body will be removed from the Vaughan funeral chapel to the Harden home Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Members of St. Mary’s church will meet at the Harden home Monday evening to recite the rosary.
