Robert A. Baker, 315 North Marion street, died at 11:40 a.m. today at the St. Joseph’s hospital. He was born October 28, 1882, at Hayworth, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Baker. Surviving are his wife Irene C. Baker; two children by a former marriage, Dr. Lyle A. Baker, Hines, Illinois, and Mrs. Pauline Revelstad, Washington D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Haley, Greenfield and Mrs. Mattie Badger, Keokuk. Mr. Baker had lived in Ottumwa for 15 years and during that time had worked as a barber. The body will remain at the Lester Jay funeral home until later in the week when it will be sent to Greenfield, Iowa for funeral and burial.
Funeral services for Robert A. Baker who died Tuesday morning at the St. Joseph hospital will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenfield. The body will be at the Lester Jay funeral home this evening.
