Mrs. Mary L. Leriche, 65, wife of W.A. Leriche, local painter, died at her home, 1223 Albia road, at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. The daughter of Frank and Jane Hickman, she was born at Lebanon, Missouri, September 9, 1878. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 26 years and was a member of the O.E.S. No. 112. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louis G. Redburn, Creston; two sons, Robert P. Leriche, Ottumwa, and Roy W. Leriche, Des Moines; two grandchildren, on great granddaughter; two sister, Mrs. Mabel Wright, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Nannie Montgomery, Edaboga, Alabama and three brothers, Charles Hickman, Hannibal, Missouri, Orville Hickman, Benton, Illinois and John Hickman, Anniston, Alabama. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Johnson funeral chapel with Mrs. M.R. Davis reader for the First Church of Christ Scientist, in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
