Mrs. Teresa Sullivan, 81, of 115 West Fourth street, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital. Mrs. Sullivan had lived in Ottumwa about 50 years ago when she ran a dress shop on East Main street, but until two years ago had made her home in New York. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sullivan, and by one son and one daughter. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Teresa Sullivan of Ottumwa, and by one son, J.M. Sullivan of Monrovia, California. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Teresa Sullivan, 81, who died Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital , will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s church in Georgetown, conducted by the Rev. J.J. Murphy. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body has been removed to the home of Mrs. Sullivan’s sister, Mrs. Simnoff, five miles northwest of Georgetown, but the Humston funeral home of Albia.
