Mrs. Grace Bowman, 33, wife of Paul Bowman former Ottumwan now living in Chicago, died at 2:05 a.m. Saturday at a Chicago hospital. She was the daughter of James and Ella Curran and was born May 26, 1910 at Melrose. Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, Darrell, Glen, Donny, Margaret Loretta and an infant son; her father, living in Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. H.L. Petri and Mrs. Floa Ford, both of Ottumwa and Mrs. Josephine Rutzinski, Milwaukee, and three brothers, Earl and Joe Curran, both of Ottumwa and Glen Curran in the Navy. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister. The body will arrive in Ottumwa late this afternoon and will be taken to the Petri home, 514 West Maple avenue. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the residence and at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart church, with the Rev. Paul Albers celebrating a requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Members of the Sacred Heart parish will meet at the Petri home at 8:30 tonight to recite the rosary.
