Mrs. Matilda E. Fisher, 83, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Dwight E. Frost, 1018 East Fourth street, at 3 p.m. Monday. She was the daughter of Hiram and Evelyn Dupy and was born August 11, 1860, in Henry county, Illinois. She had resided in the county for the past 13 years. Besides Mrs. Frost, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Richards, Detroit, Michigan; a son, Charles W. Fisher, Blakesburg route 2; two brothers, William Dupuy, Stewart, and Jake Dupy, Rock Island, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Malinda Parrish, Guthrie Center. Her husband, William Fisher, preceded her in death in 1926. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
