Mrs. Emma Droz, 33, wife of Vernon Droz, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Griffiths, Ottumwa route 5, at 5:15 p.m. Friday. She was born in Mahaska county April 24, 1910 but had resided in this county for the past 20 years. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, and two brother, James Griffiths, Ottumwa route 5, and Rodger Griffiths Jr. Ottumwa. Funeral services will be at the Johnson funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday conducted by the Rev. L.E. Welshons of the First Church of the Open bible. Burial will be in Beacon cemetery, west of Oskaloosa. The casket will be taken to the home of her parents today and will be returned to the chapel Sunday noon. Pallbearers will be William Lloyd, Harold Hutton, Alva Hunt, Lloyd Droz, Harold Leach and Donald Newman.
