Mrs. Lillian Carlos, 62, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday at her home 609 Ellis avenue, after an illness of eight months. She was the wife of Don Carlos, veteran of Ottumwa Gas Co. employee who survives. She was born April 13, 1881, in Rushville, Illinois, the daughter of Alexander and Carolina Nerville. She was married to Don Carlos July 17, 1908, in Ottumwa and had made her home here since that time. She was a member of the Daughters of Veterans tent No. 12 and the Woodman circle. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Harry Buck of (??) Illinois, and by one nephew and three nieces. The body is at the Carroll Reece funeral home pending completion of funeral services.
Funeral services for Mrs. Don Carlos, who died Wednesday at her home, 609 Ellis avenue, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroll Reece funeral home. The Rev. R.C. Keagy pastor of the Wesley Methodist church will be in charge and burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry Gray, Ernest Johnson, Frank Sizemore, Andrew Shoemaker, Clyde Jones and Bert Smith.
