Cyrus G. Sedore, 50, of Ottumwa route 6, died at 12:25 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. He was born December 6, 1894, in Wapello County, the son of William T. and Eva Jane Sedore, and had lived his entire life in Keokuk township. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Isabel Sedore; one sister, Mrs. Jennie S. Cousins of Ottumwa; and one nephew, Robert Eddy of Santa Monica, California. His father William T. Sedore, died suddenly Wednesday, November 3. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Agency. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Sedore Funeral
Funeral services for Cyrus G. Sedore, 48, prominent Keokuk township farmer who died Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. W.J. Creswell. Burial will be in the Agency cemetery. Mr. Sedore was a veteran of the first World war surviving with Co. C of the 100th field signal battalion and was a member of Olive Branch lodge No. 21 A.F. & A.M. The pallbearers will be Van Sedore, Wallace Sedore, Eara Brooks, Elijah Thomas, Alvin Thomas and G.H. Bailey.
