Funeral services for Miss Helen Hyatt, former Ottumwa resident who died July 23, at Washington D.C. following a 10-week illness, will be held Saturday afternoon at 4:30 in the family plot at Ottumwa cemetery. The Rev. George Crosby will officiate assisted by the Ottumwa chapter of the Order of the Easter Star. The daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. B.F. Hyatt of Ottumwa, Miss Hyatt was reared here and was identified with musical circles, study clubs and social clubs and social life until going to Washington D.C. a number of years ago where she was employed by the agriculture department of the federal government. The body is arriving here late today and will be at the Jay funeral home until time for graveside services. Miss Hyatt was the last member of her family, a brother Frank Hyatt, died in 1939.
