Art Schlotfeldt, 51, of Libertyville, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyslope Sanitorium. He was born March 1, 1892 in Scott county, the son of Arthur and Laura Schlotfeldt. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Esther Schlotfeldt, a son Kenneth and a daughter Mary Anna, both at home. He is also survived by his father, Alfred Schlotfeldt of Calamus and the following brothers and sisters; Corporal Armour Schlotfeldt, with the Army in Australia, Sgt. Arnold Schlotfeldt, with the Army in England; Louis Schlotfeldt, DeWitt, Mrs. Teela DuBois, Pierre, South Dakota; Mrs. Richard Eden, Calamus; Mrs. Hoyt Wiley, Rockford, Illinois and Mrs. C. E. Dooley, Davenport. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1923 and by one sister Alta Mae in 1932. He was a member of the Church of God at Rapid City, South Dakota. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
