Lewis Elmer, 53, of Ottumwa died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Starns and is survived by the following three brothers; W. F. Starns, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Fred I. Starns, St. Joseph, Missouri, and L.A. Starns, Ottumwa route 7. The body is at the Traul funerial chapel where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in charge of the Rev. W.J. Creswell. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
