Miss Ida Shank, 76, life-long resident of Wapello county, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home three and a half miles west of Ottumwa on the Albia road. The daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Shank, she was born February 27, 1867. Surviving are two nieces, Clara and Edna Adcock and three nephews, Harry, William and Frank Adcock. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, three half-sisters and a half-brother. The body will be taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the residence Friday afternoon and will be returned to the chapel in time for the services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. C.R. Reed of the Willard Street Methodist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
