Mrs. Sarah Price Dies At Age Of 91
Mrs. Sarah Price, 91, and a resident of Ottumwa for the past 54 years, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday at her home, 302 Taft avenue. Mrs. Price was born in Wales November 1, 1851, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Richards, and came to the United States 65 years ago. She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Rachael Jenkins, Woodward; Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett, Los Angles; Mrs. Sarah Hughes, and John Price, both of Chicago; Ben Price, Des Moines, Thomas Price and Evan Price, both of Ottumwa. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Mrs. Sam Chadwick, Mrs. Mary Ann MacKenzie and Benjamin Richards all of Ottumwa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the West End Presbyterian church, where she was a member. The Rev. Lloyd C. Snyder will be in charge and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be at the Lester Jay funeral home until time for the service.
