Mrs. Grace Latta 93, of 333 Appanoose street, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ottumwa hospital. She was born December 19, 1849 at Muscatine the daughter of Dr. and Elizabeth Holeman. She was married December 23, 1869 to Harvey M. Latta and spent the major portion of her married life in Henry and Davis counties. Her husband died May 7, 1922 and one son Melvin Latta died September 15, 1904. She is survived by three sons, Arthur N. Latta of Drakesville, Charles Lotta of Chicago and Lee Lotta of Ottumwa, route 4. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and by five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Community Funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Charles E. McDowell. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
