Newton Baughman, 85, a resident of Ottumwa for many years, died suddenly at 6 a.m. today at his home, 237 North Ferry street. Survivors include his wife, Ida Belle and two brothers, James Baughman, Ottumwa, and Holton Baughman, Des Moines. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel pending arrangements.
Funeral services for Newton Baughman of 337 North Ferry street, who died suddenly at his home early Friday, will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 2:30 p.m. Monday conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in McIntire cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ida Belle, two brothers, James Baughman, Ottumwa, and Holden Baughman, Des Moines, and a sister, Mrs. Cecilia Hobbs, Ottumwa.
