Mrs. Laura Miller, 88, widow of Marion Miller, 702 West Main street, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Houck and was born in Agency township, January 19, 1855, spending her entire lifetime in Wapello county. Mr. Miller died 12 years ago and since that time she has made her home with her daughters. Mrs. Miller was a member of the East End Presbyterian church. Survivors are her daughters, Mrs. R.E. Ruckman, Ottumwa; Mrs. C.A. Sullivan, Fairfield and Mrs. H.L. Traul, Blue Island, Illinois, also eight grandchildren and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson’s chapel, the Rev. A.D. McClure in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
