Arthur Raymond Douglas, 66, who lived at 118 South Green street, died at 3:15 a.m. today in the St. Joseph hospital. He was a native of Chariton and had made his home here since October 1941, when he was employed by the Ottumwa Iron Works. A brother, Charles R. Douglass, of Nivioc, Nevada survives. The body is at the Carroll Recce funeral home awaiting funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Arthur Raymond Douglass, who died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Carroll Reece funeral chapel. The Rev. George t. Hubbard will be in charge of the eservices and burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Fellow worker at the Ottumwa Iron Works will serve as pallbearers.
