Harve Price, 86, died at 10 a.m. today at his home 415 Chilton avenue. He was born in Glenmary, Tennessee in 1857 and came to Ottumwa 55 years ago, where he had made his home ever since. He is survived by one son, William Price of Ottumwa, and one daughter, Mrs. May Ann Burtlow of Hedrick. He is also survived by two stepdaughters; Mrs. Rosie Pearson, Ottumwa, route 2, and Mrs. Sarah Patterson of Bloomfield, one stepson, Victor Pearson of Springfield, Illinois and two brothers, Alex Price of Oskaloosa and Henry Price of Denver. The body is at the Johnson funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Harve Price, who died Monday morning at this home at 415 Chilton avenue, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. A.D. McClure will be in charge of the services and burial will be in the Burns cemetery.
