Mrs. Mina Nelson, 67, of 112 South Moore street, died at 2 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. She was the daughter of Arthur Marion and Margaret Higdon and was born February 18, 1876, in Ottumwa where she lived her entire life. She is survived by four sons, Wallace Nelson, Henry Nelson, Hugh Nelson and Nels Nelson, all of Ottumwa, one sister, Mrs. Ella King, and a brother Lawrence Higdon, both of Ottumwa. She is also survived by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nels Nelson, July 16, 1936. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Charles Albin. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
