Mrs. Minnie Bridge, 51, lifelong resident of Wapello county, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at her home, 312 Tisdale street. She was the daughter of Joseph and Harriet Weltch and was born April 8, 1892. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Helen Jones, Ottumwa; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Callas, Ottumwa and six brother, Harry and Bill Weltch, Ottumwa; Bert and Jerry Weltch, Los Angeles, California; Courtland Weltch, Cedar Rapids, and Jesse, Portland Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy in 1940. The body was taken to the Johnson funeral chapel pending arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Bridge, who died Sunday at her home, 312 Tisdale street, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson’s chapel, the Rev. A.D. McClure in charge. Burial will be in Dahlonega cemetery. The casket will be taken to the Callas residence, 712 South Walnut avenue, this evening and returned to the chapel Wednesday noon.
