Mrs. Nancy A. Speer, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Rest Haven home, 820 Pershing avenue. She was born in Jefferson county, the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Hopkins, and had been a resident of Ottumwa for over 40 years. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible. She is survived by the following daughters; Mrs. Lillian Smith, Mrs. Bertha Champ and Mrs. Margaret Cropper, all of Ottumwa; Mrs. W. L. Rector, Burlington, and Mrs. Irene Allen, Quincy, Illinois. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Tane Albright of Des Moines and by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. L.E. Welshons and the Rev. Kenneth Ross. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
