Mrs. Rosella A. King, 79, of 331 Richmond avenue, died at 11:35 p.m. Sunday at the Ottumwa hospital. She was born November 10, 1863, in Wapello county, the daughter of Hiram and Dorcas Clark, and had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 30 years. She is survived by the following children; David C. King, Geneseo, Illinois, Thomas Art King, Ottumwa route 4; Mrs. Delta Edington, Mrs. Mae Nora Worth, all of Ottumwa. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one brother, A.L. Clark of Albia, and by two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Overstake and Mrs. Cora Edington, both of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen King, who died in 1899, and by one daughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Covanenter cemetery six miles north of Albia.
