Clement Burton Jacobs, 36, a former Ottumwan, died suddenly Monday, January 18, at his home in Moline, Illinois. He was married February 2, 1935, to Vera Runnels, who survives. One child died in infancy. Other survivors are one son, Robert; the mother, Mrs. Mary L. Jacobs of Ottumwa; the father Albert Jacobs of Ottumwa; three brothers, Charles of Albia route 3, Glenn of Detroit and John of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Fern Knuth of Ottumwa; six nieces and one nephew. Mr. Jacobs left Ottumwa about six years ago. The body will arrive here at 3 a.m. Wednesday and will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
Funeral services for Clement B. Jacobs of Moline, Illinois, who died suddenly Monday morning, will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 3:20 p.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
